  Rezumat:  The Theology of Nature in France during the 20th Century. The theology of nature in France has been a subject of relative interest during the 20th century. Also called the theology of creation, it captured the French theologians’ attention after 1980. The historians did less research and studies in this domain. The influence of Karl Barth, who rejected the natural theology, on the Catholic thinking in France explains why the French theologians weren’t touched regarding the theme of Creation. A main question is to be asked: why the theology of nature was disregarded such a long time in France during the 20th century and why have they discovered it a few years ago? First of all, we are going to see how the theology of creation inherits the teachings of the 1st Vatican Council and of the 2nd Vatican Council. After that, we are going to analyse its characteristics from 1900 to 1980. And, in the end, we will underline the renewal of the theology of nature in the last 20 years.
