Rezumat:  The Particular Law of the Romanian Church United with Rome and the CCEO with Reference to the Divine Cult and the Sacraments. Historical-Theologicals Premises ( XVIIth-XVIIIth Centuries). At the end of the XIXth century the Romanian Church United with Rome (Greek-Catholic Church) celebrated three provincial synods. The first one (held in 1872) and the third (held in 1900) included decrees regarding the sacraments and the divine cult. This study starts from the initial assertions of those chapters, about the meaning of sacrament, respectively the role of the Liturgy as center of the divine cult. Comparing these assertions with those of CCEO’s on the same subjects, we are trying to explain the conceptual situation, a bit strange comparatively with the Eastern theological and liturgical tradition, by evoking on one hand, the interconfessional relationships in the XVIIth century in Eastern Europe and peculiarly in Transylvania and on the other hand, the influence of Jesuitic scholastic-theological texts during the XVIIIth century and even afterwards in the Greek-Catholic Church. We think that the manner in which Francisco Suárez sistemized the treatise on Eucharist, to be the remote cause which for the consideration of the sacramentum in se led to a neglection of his celebration, or to the separation between sacramental theory and liturgical experience.
