Rezumat:  The Athanasian Symbol in the Tradition of the Romanian Church United with Rome. The Athanasian symbol was elaborated in Latin in the West and stood for a synthesis of the Catholic Church on its relations with the three Persons of the Holy Trinity and Christ’s two natures. The text was also spread in the East, but much later than in the West, in a "corrected" form from which Filioque was removed. St. Athanasius symbol also circulated in the Romanian area in the 16th-17th centuries in various editions. In the 18th century, the Uniate bishops introduced or mentioned it in some of their works. The text was used under the circumstances of a strenuous activity of presenting the believers and the clergy the new realities after the union with the Church of Rome and demonstrating the truth of the Catholic faith
