  Rezumat:  The Romanian communities of Aragon (Spain). The Romanians represent the most important foreign community of Aragon region, counting 16,736 persons who are legal residents in 2004, according to data from IAEST. Their real number is thought to be much higher. The Romanians are concentrated in the province of Zaragoza, mainly in the departments of Campo de Cariñena, Comunidad de Calatayud, Valdejalón and Campo de Borja, but also in the capital city of Zaragoza, where they reach almost 7,000 persons. The analysis of the distribution by parish indicates that 85% of the Romanians are grouped in 34 settlements where more than 50 Romanians live. Apart from Zaragoza, other settlements with significant numbers of Romanians are: Calatayud (about 2,000), Alcañiz, Cariñena, Ricla (18.85% of the total population of the village), Almunia, Teruel and Mallén. The migration of the Romanians has accelerated after 2000 and is still continuing because they can easily find jobs in agriculture, building industry or services (as maids, bartenders or baby-sitters).
