	Rezumat: Biodiversity as a component of the landscape metrics. In this paper we synthesize some indices and parameters previously forwarded by different authors. In time this kind of measurements accumulated in the special literature providing a new approach to the landscape called ‘landscape metrics’. We assume that this is more appropriate for an accurate study and gives certain tools for investigation and quantification of the landscape systems in the reason to built up data basis. These in turn will make possible real comparisons of different regions and their component landscapes.
