CONCEPŢIA QUMRANITĂ DESPRE FAMILIE. Autori: IOAN CHIRILĂ. |
||||||
Rezumat: Qumran Concept about the Family. The author’s concern is to argue that the Qumran community included married couples and developed its own theological understanding of the family. The community cemetery is a proof of this reality where the author himself has witnessed the last stage of excavations on the site and the highly sophisticated investigation techniques used there. This teaching is reflected in the multiple purity laws, liturgical texts and other legislative formulas on issues involving women. The Qumran community perceived in the family a way of fulfilling the will of God as expressed from the very beginning of Genesis: male and female he created them (Gen 1:27). Keywords: Qumran, family, marriage and purity laws |
