Rezumat: VIEW PDF FULL PDF The Importance of Learning Through Discovery in the School of Today. The dynamism and the complex character of our daily society asks for exigencies of continued adjustment of the educational methodology to finalties. The very vast and dynamic informational context has got a notable impact on school, so that the teacher is no longer the central figure who knows everything.The way we know how to get the enormous amount of information that surrounds us becomes the main problem and, also, how to understand its meaning and the way we motivate the students to understand it. We cannot learn everything, but we need to develop better our necessary abilities to search and discover the continuance to generate and examine knowledge.School must go beyond the simple storage of dates and facts, it must provide the construction of knowledge that is useful and practical. Through research and discovery, the students reach a level of understanding and finding of proper solutions to questions or problems. The research and discovery represents the training capacity and the mental abilities that will make the learning process possible and, also, a great adjustment to the social panorama however unforeseeable or new this would become.
