	Rezumat: The magnetic and structural study of U1-xGdxAl4 (x=0. 8 and 0. 6) system was performed. The magnetic properties investigated in the 4-600 K temperature range and fields up to 90 kOe showed the magnetic order presence. The magnetic behaviour evidenced a transition from the ferromagnetic one (x=0) to the spin glass (x0. 8). The change in the magnetic properties is correlated to the substitutional disorder which manifests in the Gd clusters having easy axis randomly aligned superposed on the spin fluctuations due to uranium atoms.
