  Rezumat:  The book, in a CD format, is one of the first books on ancient history published as such in Romania. CD format published books have become rather a well recognized fact in other European countries, while entire books and compendiums found their place on the internet. It is not my intention to eulogize such book types: beside inherent advantages (rapid data search and find, data storage on the personal laptop and easy access anytime anywhere) a few disadvantages have become obvious: the scholar’s prestige is involved (as recognition is weighed in books) when compared to having one’s books available for people with no access to latest technologies on the shelves of any traditional library. Therefore, the book’s printed format is forthcoming.
