  Rezumat:  Central Siberia is a large area in Russia and ranges from the Taimyr Peninsula and Cheluyskin Cape in the north, to the Tuva Depression and Upland in the south. It covers about 300,000 km2 and consists of several large geological structures, i.e. the Siberian and West-Siberian platforms, and the Ural-Mongolian Fold District (Shibistov et al., 2007). The area is well-known for its huge mineral deposits, often providing exceptional mineral specimens. The best of them are kept in several museums, e.g. the Museum of Geology of Central Siberia, Krasnoyarsk and in some private collections (Nevolin et al., 1999; Anonymus, 2000; Rundqvist, 2000). In the following, some exceptional rare specimens found in Central Siberia, are presented.
