MUSEUMS AND PUBLIC AWARENESS: A NEW TYPE OF EARTH SCIENCES EXHIBITION: IT’S CALLED MINERALISM. Autori: ENKELEIDA BEQIRAJ GOGA. |

Rezumat: “Mineralism” is a new application of the Crystallographic-Mineralogic-Petrographic sciences in art. It is not only an artistic definition, but also a philosophic definition. This term was first used by Kiyoteru (1966). The reason why I called this exhibition “Mineralism” is conditioned by the fact that the mineralogical image, microscopic or macroscopic features of minerals are so closely related to their forming process. All microscopic images of rocks, their colours and forms, are not casual, they are absolutely determined by laws and conditions of crystallization. On the other hand, analyzing the mineralization process, one can see that a parallelism exists between mineral or rock life and human life. The laws are the same. They begin with an embryo, grow up through the war of existence and, at last, expire transforming to other forms (Beqiraj Goga, 2008). In this way, this exhibition is art and science; it is philosophy, education and culture in communication with students. Keywords: mineralism, art, mineral images, forming process, Albania. |
