  Rezumat:  Anticipative and Retrospective evaluations of the Playing and Training Patterns of the Basketball team “Universitatea” Cluj. The decisive factors of the performance are Selection and Training. The sportive performance may be interpreted from the point of view of the cybernetic systems, where:
- the coach is the control centre
- the player is actuator (performer)
- their results are transducers
In order to achieve performance, training patterns must be established, correlated with and determined by the playing pattern. The game and the player pattern, their achievement by means of objectifying, motivation and standardisation, their evaluation, as well as their forecasting and analysis, here are, in brief, some important subjects, which need to be studied thoroughly.
