  Rezumat:   In 2013 Professor Emeritus Liviu Literat celebrates his 85-th anniversary. His life has been devoted to the development of the chemical engineering and chemistry education in Romania and he is known as the founder of the Chemical Engineering Education in Cluj-Napoca University Center.He was born on the 9th of September 1928 in Vinţu de Jos as the descendant of an old family of priests, teachers and professors who significantly contributed to the development of the national culture and tradition in the Făgăraş County.
