	Rezumat: Density functional calculations have been carried out in order to gain some insight into the electronic structure of 1-Ph₂AsSC₆H₄-2-PPh₂ (1) and to investigate the reactions of 1 with group 10 metal dihalides. The obtained results explain well the experimentally observed behaviour of 1 during the investigated complexation reactions and support the trends observed for the isomerisation of the resulted trinuclear trimeric compounds.
