DIETRICH STOLLBERG ÉS A TERÁPIÁS LELKIGONDOZÁS / DIETRICH STOLLBERG AND THE PASTORAL THERAPEUTIC COUNSELLING. Autori: . |

Rezumat: Dietrich Stollberg, one of the best known authorities in German as well as European pastoral psychology, was the promoter of a counselling and empirical practical theology movement which started in the 1960s. In his view, counselling is supposed to serve human life in general rather than Christian life in particular. Stollberg distances himself from the word- and doctrine-centric counselling, promoting one of a therapeutic character instead, an essential part of which he considers psychological training. His counselling practice is client-centric. According to Stollberg’s opinion, counselling is related to the concept of universal priesthood. Nevertheless, being a form of psychotherapy, practicing it requires professional knowledge. For this reason, he started a training program in clinical counselling at the Bethel Institute in Bielefeld, which has come to be one of the most famous centres of its kind in our times. Keywords: Dietrich Stollberg, therapeutic counselling, pastoral psychology, psychological training, client-centric counselling. |
