Studia Universitatis Babeş-Bolyai Philologia is an open-access, double-blind peer reviewed quarterly publication (March, June, September and December), indexed in the main national (SCIPIO, Diacronia) and international databases (Web of Science - Emerging Sources Citation Index, ERIH PLUS, Index Copernicus, EBSCO, PROQUEST, CEEOL, Gale MLA), as well as in various international catalogues. The journal is ranked at the top in the rating provided by Romania’s National Council for Scientific Research (Category A).
As of September 2021, Studia Universitatis Babeş-Bolyai Philologia is an FULLY OPEN ACCESS JOURNAL.
Readers and institutions will not be charged for accessing (reading, downloading, copying, distributing, printing for research use) the full articles. The publication of the journal is funded by the Faculty of Letters and/or through institutional research grants. There is also a printed version of the journal (ISSN 1220-0484).
Studia Universitatis Babeș-Bolyai Philologia will not pay any fees to the author for the transfer of copyright on the published article.
