  Abstract:  Word and pastoral work in Saint Basil the Great. Respected and appreciated both in East and West St. Basil the Great is part of the great teachers of the Christian Church have preached the word of Gospel among Christians and heretics of his time, managing to train believers in the right faith and knowledge of teaching of Christian Church. Theologians and experts said, analyzing St. Basil’s written work: “Church had so few people completing the training and so well balanced that manifestation that St. Basil the Great”. The pastoral and word to St. Basil the Great is a treasury of theoretical and practical teaching, a source for the priest and the parishioners of today, that can coordinate their life after the teachings of this great hierarch and teacher of the Church.
