  Abstract:  The Divine Liturgy, the full expression of divine love for humankind, the synthesis of all the tension of the creation towards the Creator, but also of all and the outpouring of His mercy toward us, represents essentially the privileged space of the liturgical-sacramental parousia of God. The Eucharistic Synaxis was, is and will be unique, but our way of perceiving, perverted by passions can not see the infinite wealth of love of God, manifested fully in the Eucharistic Sacrifice. The Holy Liturgy, the unique theophany, the joy of creation, the icon of the kingdom, the anticipated living of our resurrection and of the kingdom, realized but still about to be fulfilled eschatology, can be seized only by those trying to slim down their senses by freeing themselves from passions and by asceticism in this divine work in which the presence of the Holy Spirit is plenary.
