  Abstract:  La sainteté chrétienne en parallèle avec l’initiation esoterique. L’Étude comparâtif. L’étude met en parallèle la sainteté chrétienne – avec des exemples extraits de plusieurs de ses traditions – et l’initiation dans les cultes qui s’inspirent des religions orientales. Les diférences sont assez visibles: d’un coté l’union avec Dieu implique l’homme dans son intégralité; de l’autre l’extase est surtout intellectuelle. D’un coté il s’agit d’une rencontre avec un Dieu personnel, de l’autre la perfection consiste dans une dissolution de la personnalité. D’un coté il y a la prière, qui relie le croyant avec Dieu, de l’autre l’effort est à l’homme seul. D’un coté déification, de l’autre gnose humaine.
