Abstract:  The Patterns of Past is a study in which the older discussion about the presence of the dialogue Pilate-Jesus in different post war fictions is taken again by underlining the method of using the mythical time by different writers and by emphasizing the mythical heroes pattern quality for the contemporary people. The presence of the dialogue Pilate - Jesus confers depth to some remarkable fictions of the 70’s -80’s, though they were compared with Bulgakov’s work of art The Master and Margarita. We believe that the main difference between Bulgakov’s dialogue and Aitmatov’s, I. Dombrovski’s, and Vl. Tendriakov’s dialogs consists in the lack of metaphysical thrill. Regarding Christ’s character, the authors reminded before continue the Bulgakovian model and generally the model of Russian classical literature, underlining the human in the god’s figure. The intimate resort of these fictions, which propose Jesus’ figure and the return to the Christian moral, is the idea of an eternal entity, above any manifestation of the earthly almightiness. In these novels Jesus is a character of mythical structure, of dyeing and resurrecting god. Nevertheless he doesn’t conflict with the Christian religion, on the contrary, he affirms the values of Christianity in a society which rejected faith but hasn’t succeeded to propose values as high as the values of Christianity.
