	Abstract: There are many ways of organizing and structuring a discourse, in our case of preaching it. The ancient rhetoric advised the orators to structure their discourse according to the following plan: introduction, narrative, argumentation and conclusion. Inside this plan there were many ways of connecting the ideas so as the hearer may assimilate the discourse the best way possible. The present study aims at presenting a type of connecting the ideas, that of the circular progression inside a sermon.
