Article:   THE AESTHETICS OF HEGEL AND THE INTUITIONS OF PLOTIN.

Abstract:  The Aesthetics of Hegel and the Intuitions of Plotin. Hegel treats the problem of the art at the end of The Phenomenology of the Spirit and in The Lectures of Aesthetics, in the first one more concentrated and more deeply, and in the second more developed and pedagogical. Generally, we must read Hegel in comparison with Immanuel Kant, because the aesthetics that he develops is meant to complete or to overturn some solutions of Kant. Anyway, the problems are mainly the same. After presenting the doctrine of Hegel and a short comparison with Kant, we shall try – a more difficult thing to do – to remark some similitude with the work of Plotin.

Keywords: Aesthetics, Hegel, Phenomenology of the Spirit, Plotin.
