  Abstract:   Concilio Vaticano II: aspetti che riguardano la genesi del testo sull’amore coniugale (GS 49). Gli interventi dei Padri conciliari hanno avuto luogo nel quarto periodo conciliare, nelle Congregazioni generali del 29, 30 settembre ed il primo ottobre 1965. Sono intervenuti i rappresentanti delle due tendenze. Ultimati i dibattiti nell’aula, il testo precedente fu sottoposto ad una nuova revisione. Il testo rivisto fu distribuito ai Padri conciliari. Alla fine, il 7 dicembre 1965, il testo fu votato dai Conciliari nella nuova formula in maniera solenne e definitiva. Come si vede, la genesi e lo sviluppo del testo sull’amore coniugale ed il capitolo sul matrimonio sono intimamente legati alla genesi della Costituzione Gaudium et spes.
