  Abstract:   Matrimonio, “Intíma comunión de vida y amor”. El presente artículo quiere ser una humilde aportación al amplio debate actual sobre la crisis de la familia. Una crisis con raíces profundas y complejas a nivel cultural y religioso. A partir de la definición del GS 49, “íntima comunión de vida y de amor”, se intentan esbozar algunos rasgos fundamentales del Matrimonio y sus implicaciones éticas, “a la luz del Evangelio y de la experiencia humana” (OT 16) del hombre occidental actual. Las contradicciones asimiladas como normalidad en la cultura actual pueden ser superadas redescubriendo el horizonte de la fe, a la luz de la cual se comprenden mejor el amor, la autonomía, el don gratuito de si, la sacramentalidad del otro, la familia.
