Abstract:  The Public Opinion and the Church in the Context of the Synods Dedicated to Family. Before, but also during the two Synods dedicated to Family, which Pope Francis has called for 2014 and 2015, there were a lot of aspects connected to the way in which the Pope wanted to involve all those willing in the debates over the matters advanced for settlement in the Synods mentioned. Out of wish to cast some light on it, that is why I point out the subject: "the public opinion in the Church". Lately, people believe that any opinion matters and anyone can give their opinion regarding faith and morality, either to defend certain practices that draw away from the true doctrine that the believers agree upon, or to spread doubt regarding the proper way to guide a Church. Consulting with believers on diverse aspects or subjects connected to the faith they live is one thing. But the public opinion is something totally different because it does not always run according to the criteria of verity and truth seeking regarding the matters or subjects debated.
