  Abstract:

The Perfect Teacher. Jesus Christ is The Perfect Teacher. He has brought a teaching with a salvatory power. His pedagogy counts for all human beings: in the choice of his apostles, the direct and warm comunication with the crowds, culminating in his self-sacrifice on the cross. Jesus takes „the twelve” with him and turns them into witnesses of his wonderful deeds, thus ensuring the transmission of his teaching as a divine pedagogy, through his apostles and their followers. Both the apostles and his spies called him Teacher – Rabbi, acknowledging the power of his Word. Pedagogy offers models to be followed. Pedagogy operates using ideals and educational models and the Christian model has significantly and ultimately determined the history of mankind in the last two millenniums. In the primary church, the pagans used to say, seeing how the Christians lived: „Look how they love each other!”. The Christians became models, as their Teacher hab been for them. The first Christians went to Holy Communion daily, thus becoming „theofori”, carriers of Christ, who – as a supreme Model – imprints Love into the hearts of his followers.
