  Abstract:  Malgré sa liberté apparente, l’Église gréco-catholique roumaine se heurte après sa remise en legalité (1989) avec toute une série de difficultés qui partent des questions patrimoniales sans s’y réduire pourtant. Sauf des cas isolés où l’on a évité ou bien resolu de façon amiable les disputes patrimoniale, l’ambiguité legislative favorise l’acharnement de l’Église orthodoxe roumaine à ne pas restituer (ou o moins partager fraternellement) les proprietés obtenues du régime totalitaire en 1948. Tout cela vise à nier la legitimité même de l’existence de cette Église.
