  Abstract:  The aim of the paper is to describe the role and activity of Romanian Greek-Catholic Mission in Paris in the 1950s. The paper emphasizes that this mission provided spiritual, social, financial and cultural support for all Romanians living in exile that time, regardlees of their religious orientation. It provides partial conclusions on a extended theme, which is the history of state-church relations during the Cold War and the role of the Romanian exiles in influencing the decision-making policy of the Western states in order to deliver Romania from under the Communism.
