  Abstract:  La mission de l’Église des martyres pour l’unité „Notre foi, c’est notre vie” (S.Em. le card. Iuliu Hossu). Cet article vise a surprendre quelques éléments de la mission de l’Église roumaine unie durant son histoire, dans la société roumaine (dans le champ de la culture, en ce qui concerne l’union des principats roumains) et au sein de l’Église universelle (les contributions au concile Vatican I, la confession de la foi durant le regime communiste, etc.), tout comme sa mission actuelle dans l’Église catholique (l’Église roumaine unie peut être un pont entre le christianisme oriental et celui occidental) et dans la société (à-travers ses institutions d’enseignement, ses activités dans domaine charitable, sa pastorale, etc.).
