Abstract:  Information Organization in Websites. The pattern in which information is organized and formatted in websites was taken over from the classical mass-media: books, magazines, papers as well as from library ranking systems. The Information Technology and computer development forced web designers to find new concepts and paradigms for organizing and storing data. One of these concepts is electronic hypertext that involves adding links to words or phrases and enables you to read and navigate text and visual information in a nonlinear way based on what you want to know next. This article analyzes how information must be organized in websites to satisfy the wishes of different target groups.
