Abstract: With the help of this hereby study, I would like to present some of the records concerning musical education within the Reformed College of Székelyudvarhely, followed by a detailed description of Sigmond Orbán’s handwritten hymnbook as well as Mihály Nagy’s psalm book, the handwritten vocal scores which are a true testament to the level of musical life within 17th as well as 18th century Transylvania.
