Published by Babeş-Bolyai University. pp. 169-181 VIEW PDF FULL PDF Abstract: This short study focuses on the analysis of the negative circumstances (also known as ''controversial circumstances'') at the crime scene and in direct connection with them, we approached the staging phenomenon. Likewise, we have identified the reasons that determine a person to alter the crime scene and have given few examples of staging the crime scene. At the same time, we identified the investigative procedures to follow in order to find out the truth by recognising the red flags and inconsistencies at the crime scene.
