Abstract: Approaching a historiographical field experienced by many, Simona Nicoară proposes her own model for experiencing this universe. It is about a “historical and anthropological perspective on nation and nationalism” which presents the historical evolution of nations and underlines a world of “imaginary emotions,” myths, symbols and images which make the national phenomenon a specific process for the history of mentalities. The author specifies in the beginning of her approach that she focused on the national imagination. | |||||||
