  Abstract:  The River Flow Variation in the Hydrographic Basin Of Târnava. The river flow variation in the hydrographic basin of Târnava was examined on the data available from fourteen hydrometric stations during the interval 1968-1997. The annual, seasonal and monthly flow variation imposed by humidity variations of the three geographic units of the Târnava hydrographic basin (Gurghiu and Harghita Mountains, Odorhei, Târnava Mică Subcarpathians and Târnavelor Plateau) was highlighted by the help of the medium, maximum and minimum module coefficient and the variation coefficient. The study was also focused on the analysis of the annual and seasonal flow tendency from the above-mentioned period underscoring the role of natural and antropic factors.
