  Article:   DEPENDENCE RELATIONS OF THE LITHOLOGY WITH THE STRUCTURE OF RELIEF TRASCĂU DEPRESSION.

  Abstract:  Dependence Relations of the Lithology with the Structure of Relief Trascău Depression. Trascău Depression is a part of Apuseni mountains is situated in north-western of Romania and central-western of Transilvania. This depression represent one of the depression between mountains typical of the romanian Charpathians possessed a genesis and a evolution tectonic. Depression is a elipsoidal form on direction north-south, on 11 km length while maximal breadth is 4 km. As you look in ensemble it has two planes- depression bottom which it is line with sediments and the shoulders grouped on many levels of development on all the sides excepting part from Colţii Trascăului, where it missing. Trascău Mountains are traversed on north-south for south-west that two "barrier" limestone which has a major role in formation and definitivation on that depression. At finally, Trascău Depression is a geographical unit which has a good outliner andit was appeared after a long evolution from the and of mezozoic to today.
