  Abstract:  Creatine – Controvertial Supplement. Creatine is one of the most common and at the same time controvertial supplements used by sportspeople in the various forms provided by the different producers. The climax of creatine intake has been reached in 1996 at the Olimpic Games in Atlanta, also called The Creatine Games. Together with the glycogen – lactic acid system and the aerobe one, the phosphate system (made up of ATP and phosphocreatine PC) provides the necessary energy for the body to maintain the homeostatic balance and thus ensures the good handling of every-day-life by individuals
