  Abstract:   This interview has been taken during The International Meetings organized by the National Theatre in Cluj-Napoca, 4-7 October 2013. Jean-Jacques Lemêtre, the famous theatre music composer and more than 30 year close collaborator of Ariane Mnouchkine, accepted to talk about the intimate relation between the theatre and the night, as it appeared to him during his numerous cultural voyages and during his work at the Théâtre du Soleil.
