Abstract:  Comedy comes first and foremost from observation. It is all about being open with all your senses to the world which is constantly signaling. And this might mean a shift of view. Looking at things differently, listening to everything that surrounds you, observing the emotions that take place inside of you and then finding the way to express all these in a funny yet meaningful way. Because, as somebody very well put it, there is something to get, as in to understand, which the stand-up comedian must transmit to the audience. Looking at life through the humor glass, questioning every single thing that surrounds you, every notion you believe is firm and rooted into our conscience, every belief, every stereotype action we do, every prejudice we have upon ourselves and others and remarking the things people are oblivious of but are there - now that’s a place you really want to explore bringing funny along with you. It’s accessing knowledge like no other means can; it’s basically an act of courage and freedom.
