In 2014 the fish fauna of watercourses from the following two Natura 2000 SCIs were investigated: Tureni Gorge (ROSCI0034) and Turda Gorge (ROSCI0035). The research focused on fish species of community interest (Habitats Directive, Annex II), their position in the ichthyocoenose (numerical abundance, biomass, ecological significance and IBI). Ten fish species were captured in the investigated SCI Rivers, half of them being fish species of community interest present in Annex II of the Habitats Directive.
