Abstract: Academic Stress - a Brief Synthesis Of Ideas. Academic stress is well known as being one of the most important types of stress, dropping academic performance. It is a good model for human psychological stress and is, therefore, useful for the study of psycho-neuro-hormonal changes. Among the most studied parameters are the state of anxiety and salivary cortisol level, but other parameters are useful too. Of students, the majority of medicine are more vulnerable emotionally. It has been proved that prevention and modulation of this type of stress, also involves changes regarding academic education act. In addition, to improve students’ life quality, it requires social, psychological and even medical interventions support. Key words: stress, professional stress, academic stress, students stress |
