Abstract: La mesure de la forme semi-forte de l’efficience des marchés financiers. L’hypothèse d’efficience semi-forte suppose que la réaction des marchés financiers aux informations publiques disponibles est instantanée. Ainsi, toute révélation d’une nouvelle information publique ne permet pas à investisseur de prévoir l’évolution future des cours, puisque l’ajustement de ces derniers est instantané. Une fois l’information est diffusée dans le public, un nouveau cours s’affichera puisqu’il y a certainement un changement dans la fonction d’offre et de demande du titre. Le marché sera considéré d’autant plus efficient que le cours reflète rapidement et correctement l’information disponible. La méthode utilisée pour tester la forme semi-forte de l’efficience est généralement celle des études d’événements qui consiste à déterminer la réaction d’un titre financier à la suite d’une nouvelle information. | |||||||
