  Abstract:  Lucrarea lui Alin Tat are ca obiect, într-un prim studiu, prezentarea unor aspecte ale sintezei filosofice din secolul al XIII-lea a lui Toma din Aquino şi, în al doilea studiu, prezentarea relaţiei dintre filosofie şi teologie, aşa cum apare ea în interpretările din secolul al XX-lea elaborate de comentatorii francezi ai operei lui Toma din Aquino. Întreg volumul este scris în limba franceză şi reprezintă, probabil, rezultatul parţial al unui stagiu de pregătire în Franţa.
