HISTORY OF STUDIA EUROPAEA
The first issue of Studia Universitatis Babeş-Bolyai Europaea was published in 1996; between 1996 - 2004 the journal appeared half-yearly. From 2005 until 2008, the publication had three annual appearances; starting 2009 the journal appears quarterly.
Studia Universitatis Babeş-Bolyai Europaea was certified by the Romanian National University Research Council) and ranked within B+ category (2000 - 2011).
The publication's area of concern is in falling in line with the multidisciplinary profile of the Faculty of European Studies. Consequently, the studies reflect several areas of scientific research (political science, international relations, law, economics, anthropology, information and communication technology), focusing however, on present-day concerns of European integration.
Depending on the subjects addressed by the contributors, the articles are generally organized by extended domains (e.g. International Relations and European Politics, Models and Policies in European Economy).
General presentation
Since 1996, the academic journal Studia Europaea, issued by the Faculty of European Studies, has been representing an open arena for promoting research endeavours. The journal is refereed by international specialists and officially acknowledged by the Romanian National University Research Council (CNCSIS).
Senior as well as junior academics from Europe and from the United States have found in Studia Europaea a way of expressing their preoccupations by publishing academic articles that have focused on the European experience and perspectives in various fields of social science.
Since February 2008, Studia Europaea has been inclued in ProQuest CSA Worldwide Political Science Abstracts, one of the most prestigious worldwide databases for political science, which includes academic journals such as International Affairs, Survival or Political Analysis (www.csa.com).
Présentation générale
Depuis 1996, la revue scientifique Studia Europaea, éditée par la Faculté d'Etudes Européennes, a représenté une agora qui s'est proposée d'encourager l'expression des idées et des débats scientifiques. La revue est révisée par des spécialistes de taille internationale et agrée par le Conseil National de la Recherche Universitaire de Roumanie (CNCSIS).
Des hommes de sciences consacrés, de même que des jeunes chercheurs d'Europe et des Etats Unis ont trouvé dans Studia Europaea un espace favorable à la propagation des préoccupations scientifiques qui relèvent des divers domaines des sciences sociales.
Depuis février 2008, Studia Europaea a été inclue dans ProQuest CSA Worldwide Political Science Abstracts, une des bases de données les plus prestigieuses dans le domaine des sciences politiques, qui inclut des revues comme International Affairs, Survival ou Political Analysis (www.csa.com)
