Abstract:  The study points out the importance of an efficient supervisory meeting in student teacher education. Learning to teach is a very complex procedure. One aspect of this process is the classroom observation and teaching practice. This profession can not be tought by reading books. The pedagogical practice is the first occasion for the becoming teachers to meet the school staff, to have their own personal experience. It makes obvious for the students that there are various teaching and learning styles we have to deal with and they should not look for one only good and proper sample. The knowledge gathered by practice is long lasting and much deeper than a theoretical examination. After the characteristics of the good teacher were listed, we agreed on the fact that a good teacher should be a professional or/and an artist also.
