Abstract:  The paper proposes a quest for the identification of the biblical basis of the Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed, and their exegetical approach. The author underlines some aspects of the Revelation and emphasizes their connection with the liturgical experience of the Orthodox Church, considering that words are meant to become liturgical acts in order to overcome the basic level of day-to-day communication. Strongly connected to the liturgical life, biblical exegesis should become an instrument towards the unity of understanding within the Church and a way of living the Liturgy of the Creed.
