Abstract:  The Teaching on Church in Protestant Confessions of Faith. The official confessions of faith appeared in the XVIth century in the context of the challenges caused by the Reform. They are more ample explanations of the symbol of faith. The protestants give a very big importance to confessions of faith. These are put on the same level with the ecumenical symbols. We present briefly the Confessions of faith of Lutheran and Calvinist Church and the places where the doctrine on Church is exposed. The Being of Church. C. A. article 7 expresses the classic Protestant ecclesiology: "The Church is the society of saints, in which the Gospel is right taught and the sacraments are officiated as fit. The real Church is the unseen one and the one seen is only a consequence of the first. The quality of member of Church is conditioned by straightening through faith. The features of church - unity is given by the unity of faith, the faith with which man answered to the unique appeal of choice. - holiness - Church is a holy Christianity - catholicity - Church includes the men of always and everywhere, which have faith in Christ. - apostolicity. The Apostles lead the Church trough the Scriptures, which contains the testimony about Church - the Gospel. The hierarchy. The Confessions of faith make a clear distinction between "sacerdotium" - entrusted to all believers and "ministerium" serving made by those, which are established through community''s mandate. The ministers are administrators and not sacrificers. It''s not necessary to bring up to date Christ''s Sacrifice. The orthodox criticism. The Church is the believer’s communion with Got and the communion between each other, an institution with divine norms a historic unchallenged reality; it is a sum of the right ones and the sinners, called to be saints. Church has a hierarchy of divine establishment charged with the keeping, the transmitting and the preaching of Christ''s teaching, the mysteries administration and the leading of the believers on the way to salvation. The Church is not hidden of everyone sight. Protestant Churches are not graceful, sacramental Churches as man is deprived of any possibility to receive the grace, thus Churches become rather worldly assemblies or congregations.
