  Abstract:  The paper proposes a brief recollection of the most important scholars involved in the Qumran research and editing projects, such as Eleazar Sukenik, Roland de Vaux, Frank Cross or Emanuel Tov. Another concern of the paper is presenting the Qumran scrolls as possible models of returning to the source of true peace, by inserting some liturgical texts which blend together doxology, blessing and intercession.
