  Abstract:   L’apothéose de la tentation politique de l’Eglise Roumaine Unie – La révolution de 1848. L’Eglise Roumaine Unie à Rome a cultivé les aspirations nationales de ses fidèles. Le moment historique de 1848 la trouve pleinement impliquée dans le mouvement national, mais, en même temps, dans le prochain intervalle de temps, le mouvement politique s’envolera et l’Eglise sera au fur et à mesure éliminée de cette équation. De cette façon, le début de la confrontation entre l’Eglise et la modernité se montrera en Transylvanie aussi ; une lutte ininterrompue et sans compromis.
