  Abstract:  La spiritualité de l’église catholique ukrainienne de XXe siècle. En mars 1917 le gouvernement de tsars fut renversé et remplacé par un gouvernement à tendance libérale et puis s’imposa le gouvernement soviétique, le Saint-Synode inauguré Le Concile panrusse qui jugea nécessaire de redonner un chef unique en la personne d’un patriarche. L’archevêque Tychon de Vilna remplit cette fonction jusqu’à sa mort en 1925. Après la mort du Patriarche Serge (†1944) l’Eglise Ortodoxe Russe a ete bien tolere par le gouvernement soviétique. Les Eglises Greco – Catholiques entrent en cathacombe (1945 – 1948) mais après la chute de communisme, l’Eglise ait pu jouer avec succès le role d’unificateur et de libèrateur.
