  Abstract:  L’assertion spe salvi facti sumus constitue une invitation à vivre profondément les vertues théologales. Dans un monde désacralisé, dans une société consommiste, dans le cotexte d’une philosophie subjective, la foi rend possible une existence vécue d’une intensité véritable, l’amour purifie ce qui est fautif en nous et l’espoir nous donne la force de l’enthousiasme spirituel si nécessaire sur la voie de la vie, de la redemption, de l’immitation du Christ. L’homme doit revenir à Dieu, la source de la vie et le Seigneur qui a tout crée et qui maintient tout à l’existence par son amour, en se laissant pénétré par sa grâce, à travers laquelle Dieu l’élève à une nouvelle dignité, celle de fils dans le Fils. La foi, l’espoir et l’amour génère l’homme nouveau, rené de l’eau et de l’Esprit.
